Disscussion-5 Contradictions of Holy Books

Firstly as Doctor Zaik says our aim is not to harm christians or Jews, is to show there must be no contradictions in  holy books that were sent down by God.

Christians say Quran has contradictions, Muslims say Bible has contradictions. I am going to give some examples, some are from youtube videos.

Page Disscussion-4 is usually about Quran. Here we will give examples from other holy books of Christians and Jews.

1- The creation of universe.
Bible says God created universe in 6 days(6 x 24 hours)
Quran says God created the universe in 6 days(but in arabic not day. day means period)
And in Bible God says He created plants and then sun. So there is a big contradiction here. Some christian scientists believe that universe could not be created in 6 days so it must be period. Then we ask if it is period, how can plants stay alive without sun? Anyway you should watch that video. 10 min. and if you can, you can watch the complete video. It is about 4 hours.

2- Pork meat s forbidden in Torah and Old Testament of Christians in chapter 14.
Deuteronomy 14New International Version (NIV)

Clean and Unclean Food

14 You are the children of the Lord your God. Do not cut yourselves or shave the front of your heads for the dead, for you are a people holy to the Lord your God. Out of all the peoples on the face of the earth, the Lord has chosen you to be his treasured possession.
Do not eat any detestable thing. These are the animals you may eat: the ox, the sheep, the goat, the deer, the gazelle, the roe deer, the wild goat, the ibex, the antelope and the mountain sheep.[a] You may eat any animal that has a divided hoof and that chews the cud. However, of those that chew the cud or that have a divided hoof you may not eat the camel, the rabbit or the hyrax. Although they chew the cud, they do not have a divided hoof; they are ceremonially unclean for you. The pig is also unclean; although it has a divided hoof, it does not chew the cud. You are not to eat their meat or touch their carcasses.

3- Jesus never said that "He was a God"

Matthew chapter 19 verses 16-18.
16 Just then a man came up to Jesus and asked, “Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life?”
17 “Why do you ask me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, keep the commandments.”
18 “Which ones?” he inquired.
Jesus replied, “‘You shall not murder, you shall not commit adultery, you shall not steal, you shall not give false testimony, 19 honor your father and mother,’[a] and ‘love your neighbor as yourself.’

*WHO is the the one and good? of course not him(himself),  but God. And you read adultery is a sin too but what about today's christians.. The best thing they do is adultery, begiining at the age of 14-16. Young females give birth on the streets of England etc..

Acts chapter 3 verse 22-23.
22 For Moses said, ‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your own people; you must listen to everything he tells you. 23 Anyone who does not listen to him will be completely cut off from their people.

*So even Moses said that Lord gave duty him as a prophet, and he is among them, a human.

4- Can a christian father marry with his daughter?

Yesterday i watched a movie, brimstone-western (search:imdb) the priest is looking her daughter in a bad way that his wife is warning him n argueing and priest says that he has right to get marry with his daughter if she is virgin, relating to a verse from new testament. i have searched it and found out something. Can a good christian tell me what those verses mean? i know but want to hear you. According to you who is paul? is he a prophet? can he get some spirits, sayings from god or holy spirit? can a father marry with his daughter in christianity?

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1%20Corinthians+7&version=NIV

1 corinthians chapter 7 verse 36

36 If anyone is worried that he might not be acting honorably toward the virgin he is engaged to, and if his passions are too strong[b] and he feels he ought to marry, he should do as he wants. He is not sinning. They should get married. 37 But the man who has settled the matter in his own mind, who is under no compulsion but has control over his own will, and who has made up his mind not to marry the virgin—this man also does the right thing. 38 So then, he who marries the virgin does right, but he who does not marry her does better

In the 7th chapter of his First Corinthian letter, Paul, by the inspiration of the Spirit, gave a variety of instructions pertaining to the marriage relationship. Some of these were fixed rigidly as a matter of moral correctness. Others were given by way of the apostle’s seasoned advice."

You see they dont even want to believe these verses and think they could be seasonal advice; means to me; although there cant be such a verse it was written for a famous man's will for his daughter. Could St Paul get inspiration from holy spirit? NO of course is he a prophet? NO of course.
All those are nonsense and make no sense. Proof of the situation of testaments. Hand made books.

5- Why can a Christian choose Islam?

Answer is in the video. When she saw the contradictions in Christianity, she has converted to Islam.

6- Is bible words of God or someone?

I dont know much about bible. Does christians say bible is words of God? If so, WHO was that book revealed to? Jesus or Someone?

If it was revealed to Jesus, could Jesus say or God say such a verse before he died? And if that verse was revealed after his death(or disappeareance) then WHO was the verse revealed to?

I sometimes visit biblegateway.com to check some verses. Last time I visited that verse was published as "verse of the day" and when I read it, I was completely shocked. Normaly we muslims believe that a holy book is the words of God. And all words must have been told to prophet when he was alive.
BUT that verse shows that the verse was added to bible after Jesus' death. Not Jesus himself could say that after he had gone.

After his disappearence(raise) could Jesus say such a verse??? and put it into bible.
or do I missunderstand the verse?

7- Is bible words of God or someone? - part 2

I watch movies and shows a lot. As I wrote above on section 4, I have learnt a new thing from a movie "Harriet" recently. I opened "biblegateway" again and see that the movie is correct about the verse.
Some people accuse of Quran that it can not be God's words because they ask that question to us: "Why does God need to write lots of things about Muhammed's wives and way of living(behavours) at his own house?"

Well after reading that verse from Bible, I must ask, I must certainly ask the same question to my Christian friends..

Can God advise slaves to obey their master's orders because it is like to obey God's commands?
or that verse was written by a man, an important man who wanted to make slaves as slaves.

here is the verse from new testament;
colossians 3.22-25 and a few verse before;
Instructions for Christian Households
18 Wives, submit yourselves to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.

19 Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them.

20 Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord.

21 Fathers,[c] do not embitter your children, or they will become discouraged.

22 Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything; and do it, not only when their eye is on you and to curry their favor, but with sincerity of heart and reverence for the Lord. 23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. 25 Anyone who does wrong will be repaid for their wrongs, and there is no favoritism.
If your God talks about slaves in that way, Why not our God talks to Muhammed about his house?
At least in Quran God never says Slaves must obey what their masters want..
In Quran God says Set your slaves free if you cant look after them in the same way you eat, you carry, you dress etc.. Set them free and get them married..
In time of Muhammed there was slavery and in Quran God encouraged Muslims to set their slaves free.. Quran wants to remove slavery step by step by putting difficulties onto masters about looking after them in an equal way as their lives.
